This is becoming more and more popular due to the higher picture quality now available, less expensive usage over IP and the benefits of cutting back travel time and the costs associated with it.

Interactive projection screens have been available for some years with the majority of educational establishments using them and you can now get an interactive overlay for a plasmas and LCDs.
Interactive technology has also moved on to smaller screens such as kiosks and information screens.

Also, there are now systems that utilise the IP network and can distribute TV signals over longer distances with excellent image quality.
